Actor Salman Khan has no immediate plans to follow his brothers Arbaaz and Sohail into production. But says he would love to invest in “small and entertaining” films if he does. Asked about his plans on film production, Salman said “Not now. But if I do I would like to do simple, small and entertaining films.”

Dressed in a black shirt and blue jeans, the actor was at the Kingdom of Dreams complex in the suburb of Gurgaon adjoining the national capital to launch the IIFA Buzz Café in Culture Gully and promote his new film Dabangg. He was accompanied by co-star Sonakshi Sinha and brother Arbaaz.

Also present at the launch of IIFA Buzz Café were actor Hussain Kuwajerwala and actress Kashmeera Irani, who are a part of Bollywood musical Zangoora, to be staged at Nautanki Mahal Sep 17 in the Kingdom of Dreams. More

Bollywood actor, Salman Khan claims that he and Katrina Kaif are still together and very much in love with each other, thus putting an end to all the speculations over his relationship. He told this while promoting his forthcoming film, ‘Dabangg’.

“Katrina and I are still together.” told Salman.

Lately, Katrina Kaif confessed in public that she is single. On inquiring Salman about the comment made by her, he says, “I told Katrina to say that she is single.” The actress feels that commitments changes with situation.

“If you commit to something, you must stand by. But if you commit to something and the situation changes, then perhaps the commitment also changes, it seems that things are going well between the couple.” told Kats in an interview. Source

Salman Khan is up against Amitabh Bachchan or so it seems. The actor, who had left Sony in a mess after refusing to do ‘Dus Ka Dum’ at a lesser price, will now face competition from Big B as the channel is set to launch it’s show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 4’ on air on the same date as the launch of Sallu’s ‘Bigg Boss 3’ on Colors.
 
And if sources are to be believed then the fallout between Salman and the channel did not happen only over money. “Salman shocked the channel by saying that he was interested in doing ‘Kaun Banega Croreopati 4’. For this, Salman had sent feelers to the channel via the production house. This was when the channel was in advanced talks with Mr Bachchan,” states a source.

As per reports, both ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 4’ and ‘Bigg Boss 3’ were to be launched at the end of this year. However now, both shows will be aired on the same date and the same time in mid-October. More

Salman Khan bought sister Alvira Agnihotri an apartment worth Rs 10 crore last week. The actor’s behna (he lovingly calls her Baby) is married to actor-turned-producer Atul Agnihotri. 

Baby lives near their parents’ home in Bandra, but now her new address is a swanky penthouse in Pacific Heights, a building near Rizvi Complex off Carter Road, in the same suburb. According to a real estate broker from the suburb, the penthouse measures 4,000 square feet. “Going by the current rate (Rs 25,000 per sq ft), the flat would cost around Rs 10 crore,” said the broker.

When contacted Atul said, “It isn’t true. We are looking at a new place, but we haven’t bought any property at the moment.”

When Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif were a couple, their admission of love came forth in just muted tones. Now, when the industry is abuzz with the talks of their split, Salman has thrown a bombshell by admitting that he and Katrina have indeed parted ways.

“I have broken up with Katrina. We were friends then for everybody, we are friends now,” Salman is quoted to have said in an interview to Headlines Today.

The Dabangg star got a little philosophical when asked about the reason of his break-up from Katrina.

“Koi cheez tootati hain toh isliye kyonki ya toh different ways chali gayi hain, ya ek shakhs ki growth nahin hui, ya ek ne kuch aur path chun liya hai, ya sensibility samajh mein nahi aati, ya thinking galat ho gayi hain (A relationship breaks when it strays off in different directions, or when one of the two has stopped growing, or when the other person has chosen a different path, or when the thinking has got distorted).” More

Reportedly, Govinda is upset with Salman Khan. The reason behind the anger is that Salman Khan has promised a promising launching pad for Govinda’s daughter but till date he has not fulfilled his promise. On the other hand, the fact that Salman is taking huge interest in Shatrughan Sinha’s daughter Sonakshi Sinha and offered her a film like ‘Dabangg’ did not go well with Govinda. He wants something similar for his daughter but Sallu Miya is not taking any interest.

Salman and Govinda are thick friends and together they have delivered several hits. Their awesome pair is cherished by the public but due to personal reason, a barrier has been developed. Govinda is not taking the fact lightly that Salman Khan is ignoring his daughter.

Bollywood star Salman Khan is so impressed with Aamir Khan after watching “Peepli Live” that he has given him the title of “Mr.Midas touch”.

“Mr. Midas touch has produced a picture. Midas touch ‘matlab ke’ (means) Aamir Khan. ‘Peepli Live’ has a mad-ass touch. Especially the press should see the film,” Salman posted on his Twitter page.

With Aamir’s last three films — “Taare Zameen Par”, “Ghajini” and “3 Idiots” - declared blockbuster hits, Salman seems to have chosen an apt expression for his colleague. “I didn’t let Aamir touch me after the film. Agar mujhe gold mein badal deta toh? (What if he touched me and I would have transformed into gold?),” Salman quipped.

“Peepli Live” is a satire on farmers’ suicides and it has been directed by Anusha Rizvi and produced by Aamir Khan Productions Pvt Ltd. Everyone’s favourite Salman Khan will play the lovable Anthony Gonsalves in the remake of the supreme entertainer of the late seventies ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ directed by the master entertainer Manmohan Desai.

Yeah, you guessed it right, the remake is finally on. The movie will be produced by Ramesh Taurani, the owner of Tips who recently gave the hit ‘Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani’ starring Salman’s girlfriend and Bollywood’s queen charming Katrina Kaif along with the current poster boy of the tinsel town Ranbir Kapoor. The remake was planned much earlier and now an industry close hand reveals that Ramesh Taurani had acquired rights from Narendra Hirawat and Ketan Desai for the same.

It seems that Salman and David Dhawan will patch up soon as and when Salman gives his dates for this ambitious project that will star Arbaaz as Amar the role played by Vinod Khanna in the original, Sohail as Akbar, the role played by Rishi Kapoor (Ranbir Kapoor’s father) and of course Anthony bhai by the Bollywood most lovable bhai Salman Khan.
