That’s what it says inside the vanity van Hrithik Roshan is using on the sets of Zoya’s Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara in Spain.
Duggu had a huge poster with the lines ‘Make love not war’ pasted next to his mirror in the van.
As soon as word spread, everyone on the set started calling it the ‘love-making van’.
Wonder what leading lady Katrina Kaif’s van says. Source
While Bollywood hunk Hrithik Roshan has almost been finalised to play the lead role of the remake of cult film ‘Agneepath’, reports reveal that Genelia D’Souza has been approached to play the actor’s leading lady in the same. Buzz has it that although Hrithik is yet to hear a full narration of Karan Johar’s ‘Agneepath’, the actor has given a nod to the same.
According to our source, while several top-notch actresses including Priyanka Chopra have been approached to star opposite Hrithik in the flick, the gorgeous Genelia D’Souza is being considered the most for the role.
Talking to a news daily, an industry insider said, “She (Genelia) kinda suits the role.”
Well, in that case, Genelia must be feeling lucky to have bagged a chance to romance none other than Hrithik Roshan onscreen. Source
Occupying a unique position in Hindi film, Kalki Koechlin’s ethereal, fine grained demeanour masks an interior that is intrinsically Indian. Born in Pondicherry to follower of Sri Aurobindo parents, the actor parallels her namesake Lord Kalki, who it is said will emerge from spiritual devotees hidden in a small village. The 27-year-old has managed the ascent from pocket-sized theatre venues to the Filmfare stage with DevD as her only showreel. But with three films releasing at the end of this year and into early 2011, a trio of avatars await.
Presently in Barcelona filming Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Kalki does not give a lot away. “I can’t say too much about the film at the moment. We are currently shooting here in Spain. The film stars Abhay Deol, Hrithik Roshan and Farhan Akhtar. It is about their journey: the journey they go through in the film and what each one of them discovers by the end.” It seems di rigueur that when male actors outnumber their female stars - in this case it is just Kalki and Katrina Kaif - the girls become the target for on the sets high jinx. “They are all a lot of fun, Hrithik can be quite dry and sarcastic in his humour and likes to tease me.” “But,” Kalki adds, “so far nobody has played any pranks.” Source
Karan Johar has zeroed upon the star cast of the highly acclaimed film of his father Yash Johar. For a long time, he was unable to decide upon the stars for the superhit film of 1990 ‘Agneepath’ remake but at last he has decided. Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra will play the lead roles.
A source at Dharma Production says, “Priyanka and Hrithik will be coming together on-screen after KRISSH. While Hrithik will be playing Amitabh Bachchan’s role of Vijay Dinanath Chauhan, Priyanka will play the role of a nurse, and girlfriend that was played by Madhavi in the original. Both complement each other on screen.”
“Minor changes will be made in the script, making it modern while keeping the plot more or less the same. However, the dialogue penned by Kader Khan will remain unchanged. The character played by Mithun Chakraborty has been totally done away with in the remake,” adds the source.
The new ‘Agneepath’ will be highly inspired from SCARFACE. After ‘Krrish’, this would be Hrithik and Priyanka’s second film together. Source
Rakesh Roshan is definitely planning a sequel; not of the 2010 disaster Kites, but of 2006 superhit movie, Krrish. Though reports had earlier stated that Roshan Sr. had dropped the idea of Krrish 2 after the release of the visually spellbinding Hollywood movie Avatar, the 2nd installment of the film has now officially been given the green signal.
And Papa Roshan is leaving no stones unturned to make sure that this movie turns out to be a great hit and wipes out the embarrassment of Kites. For starts, Rakesh has taken upon himself to supervise every minute detail of the screenplay and the dialogues which writer Robin Bhatt is in charge of. Known to give a free hand to his writers with minimal interference, this time Rakesh is being very cautious as his son’s as well as his production company Filmkraft’s future is at stake. So while Hrithik is busy shooting for Zoya Akhtar’s Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara, his dad is working non-stop on Krrish2. The basic story of the sequel has apparently been fixed so the details are now been worked upon. Also, Deepika Padukone (who had refused Kites because of the intimate scenes) may be playing the female lead in the film.
After directing Hrithik Roshan in three of his career’s biggest hits - Kaho Na Pyaar Hai, Koi Mil Gaya and Krrish - we hope that the father-son duo turn out to be fourth time lucky. Source
Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Salman Khan can now wax eloquent over Hrithik Roshan. Quite literally, considering that Roshan Junior now joins the notable ranks of the above… who will be immortalised in waxwork at the famed Madame Tussauds in London.
HR, filming for Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ in Spain, was over the moon with happiness when he learnt of the development. And back home in India, the Roshans can barely hide their glee over the prestigious honour.
A source close to the Roshans says, “The family is all the more excited because it’s only been a decade since Hrithik entered the industry, while the others took a longer time to receive this honour.”
Come January 2011, the Madame Tussauds team of professionals will arrive in Mumbai to take those intricate, pain staking measurements for the waxwork. And Robert Pattison, ‘Twilight’ star and most smooched model in the museum will soon have some Indian light eyed competition. Source
Our Bollywood stars have all the fun when they are shooting overseas. If they had the same masti on the sets of some filmi studio here in Mumbai, they would invariably get romantically linked with each other.
So is the case with Katrina Kaif and Hrithik Roshan. The two along with the rest of the cast of Zoya Akhtar’s Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, are having a blast in Spain. They were out on the streets of Spain smashing tomatoes on each other at the annual Tomato festival that was held there.
“I had only heard about it, but now I got to experience it. The ritual brings in good luck. People from all over the world come to witness it. I had a lot of fun,” she said from Spain. Unfortunately, the one who missed out on all the fun was Mrs Roshan. Sussanne, who is also there, didn’t want to participate in it as the smell of rotting tomato pulp was driving her crazy. But other than her, nobody’s complaining! Source
The not so lucky with the alphabet K director Rakesh Roshan has installed nine close-circuit television cameras in the three floors of his house in order to ensure the safety of his family.
And the senior Roshan personally monitors the footage from each of the cameras.
This way, he can keep a tab on the comings and goings in his house.
The cameras are aimed at the entrances to the house and in the kitchen. Apparently, he had ordered the cameras a long time ago, but has installed them only recently. Source
50,000! Yeah, a glorious, anxious and precious set of Abhishek Bachchan loyalists, numbering a whopping half a lakh, engaged Bachchan Junior in an online chat. And created cyber history of sorts!!
Incidentally, the number of fans desirous of chatting with the ‘Raavan’ rage built up sooooooooooooo mucccchhhhhh… that the server crashed!! And had to be reset.
Abhy Boy’s popularity has been steadily soaring… and with the phenomenal ‘Raavan’ buzz peaking, it was hardly surprising that a teeming set of admirers were also trying to chat up with the able star.
Incidentally, Hrithik Roshan had managed to pull in 27,000 fans during the pre publicity aura of ‘Kites’. Abhy Boy, however, has raced ahead!

Way Long before Hrehaan and Hridhaan were born, there was a special baby for whom heartthrob Hrithik Roshan had a soft corner. The baby has now grown up to be the current superstar of Bollywood, and he is none other than Ranbir Kapoor. Recently, Hrithik Roshan expressed his adoration for Ranbir Kapoor in an interview with a news weekly stating that he was very fond of the Kapoor scion when he was a kid.
Hrithik talked at length about the family picnics of Kapoors and Bachchans and how he would baby-sit for Ranbir. Hrithik Roshan revealed that most of the time during family picnics, he would end up taking care of baby Ranbir, who is nine years younger to him. He also related amusing incidents and said that the actor was quite a cry-baby. Hrithik did not refrain from adding that the latter also peed on him during one of their outings!
Well, little did their parents know then that the two kids would grow up to be the best looking men of the film industry. Source
