Jacqueline Fernandez wants to do romantic films

After Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Bipasha Basu’s Hollywood outing, its now model-turned-actress Jacqueline Fernandez, who is all set to make a splash in a Canadian-British venture.

When she was quizzed upon the sequels she did like Murder 2, Housefull 2 and now Race 2, she said, “It is been the season for sequels in Bollywood. Sequels have usually had an audience due to their effective initial components. Coincidentally, about the time when I was launched, I was obtaining sequel provides left, correct and centre. But these 3 had been the ones that I consciously chose. I enjoyed their initial installments and they had great directors, great production homes backing them and obviously fantastic co-actors”.

“I have always had lot of support from Sri Lanka and people have been very nice and supporting me here. There are lots of Bollywood fans there. Right now, our country is shaping up and our glamour and movie industry opening up. I want to be there.. either to show support or be part of it some way,” the former Miss Sri Lanka said.

When asked about the one function she’d jump at if it had been provided to her now, she answered, “I’d prefer to do a romantic film. It is something I haven’t carried out. I also like comedies — comedy comes fairly naturally to me. So, I’d need to say a romantic comedy. Perhaps with Ranbir… (laughs).
