Rishi Kapoor tap dances after 30 years for Chasme Baddoor

If you grew up watching and admiring Rishi Kapoor’s charming moves in songs from the ’70s, you might just be treated to a trip down memory lane through his upcoming film.

Rishi Kapoor who is sporting a hippie look in David Dhawan’s Chashme Baddoor remake will be performing a tap dance with Ali Zafar in the film. The veteran actor was last seen performing the dance style 36 years ago!

A source close to the film says, “Kapoor will tap dance with actor Ali Zafar in the song ‘Early morning’. The video will feature him in a jovial mood where he matches his moves to the tune.” The veteran actor will also sport a unique look in the film. He will be seen riding a Harley Davidson bike in the by-lanes of Goa and sporting innumerable tattoos. “Kapoor’s look will surprise viewers,” says the source, adding, “The steps in the song will remind you of his dance in the song from HKKN.” “Rishi Kapoor has done mind blowing steps in the song, which reminds you of his Mil gaya hum ko saathi mil gaya from Hum Kisise Kum Naheen days, where the young Rishi was seen in off white clothes and dancing his heart out,” says a source.

“In Chashme Baddoor too, he is dancing with full zest. We are sure the audiences are going to have a treat as he is set to do tap dancing after 36 years,” the source added.

The 60 year old actor will be seen playing a hopeless romantic bachelor in the film. He will portray a retired sailor sporting tattoos and riding a Harley-Davidson bike. His look is said to be inspired by adult film actress Sunny Leone`s husband Daniel Weber, who dons a stubble and has tattoos inked all over.

A remake of the 1981 film of the same name, the new version of Chashme Baddoor also stars actors Siddharth, Divyendu Sharma and southern actress Taapsee Pannu.
