Bobby Chawla Is No More The Ceo Of Red Chillies, says Shahrukh Khan
In the wake of deteriorating health of the CEO of his company Red Chilies Entertainment Bobby Chawla, Shah Rukh Khan has replaced him with the CEO and MD of his another venture Kolkata Knight Riders Venky Mysore. The decision however, seems to have come as a shock for Bobby’s sister and SRK’s close friend Juhi Chawla who weren’t aware of this sudden change.
The announcement was made through a press statement which said: “Red Chillies Entertainments Pvt Ltd announced today that Venky Mysore has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer. He will take full responsibility for all the operations of the production house. In addition he will continue in his role as CEO and MD of the Kolkata Knight Riders.”
The replacement has been taken place as Bobby Chawla is in a state of coma since April 2010. He is the brother of Bollywood actress as well as SRK’s close friend Juhi Chawla. It is reported that it was difficult for Shah Rukh to make this business decision.
According to source, “The decision to replace Bobby was taken in the first week of February and although Shah Rukh is concerned and pained with Bobby’s situation, it was unavoidable as the workload was increasing each day and the company was unable to perform to its best with an in absentia CEO.”
