A reliable source reveals, “Things went kaput when Katrina almost met with a wardrobe malfunction. The star pocketed Rs. 50 Lakhs for her 20-minute performance. The star was so engrossed that she didn’t realize that her choli had malfunctioned exposing her lower torso. The front bencher guests managed to grab some of Kats stills on their cameras.

Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray called Shahrukh Khan ‘a traitor’, but said that Sena will not block screening of SRK’s film.

In an editorial in Sena mouthpiece Saamna on Saturday, Thackeray said: “Sometimes we feel why are we doing all this? How do we awaken this Congress party? That’s why we have decided rule the way you want to. You have come to power using the machinery. Hence we are aware of how far reaching your power. You are using and will continue to use your power to brutally attack the Shiv Sena, Shiv Sainiks and Saamna. This is how you rule. So go ahead. Let Pakistani cricketer play anywhere they want in the country. Let Australia continue attacking Indians. Let Pakistan continue 26/11 like attacks anywhere in India. Let Shah Rukh Khan show his film My Name Is Khan without security,” Thackeray said.

Filmkraft production’s Kites, directed by Anurag Basu is creating waves for Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori’s intense romance and sizzling lip-lock. The chemistry between the two is so deep that it has almost created a hole at Hrithik and Suzanne’s paradise. The first look of the film is out and it shows Hrithik and Barbara in intense love pose. Apart from lip-locking, Barbara kissed Hrithik’s chest.

The Khiladi Akshay Kumar’s son, Aarav, has become the youngest person to win a Green Globe Foundation Award for his efforts towards preventing global warming.

The Green Globe Foundation Awards exist specifically to recognize individuals and organizations who make a positive contribution to the environment through fighting climate change. Aarav’s award – for Extraordinary Contribution by a Child – is for adopting a village without electricity and providing it with solar lanterns and similar energy-saving devices. Reportedly, nine year old Aarav was inspired last year both by watching a documentary called Greenathon, and also by his “Preity aunty” (Preity Zinta) who similarly adopted a village on her birthday.

Though Aarav’s parents Akshay and Twinkle are currently in Germany for a hydrotherapy course and were unable to attend the award ceremony, Akshay is said to be very emotional about his environmentally conscious son’s achievement. Proud grandmother Dimple Kapadia accompanied Aarav to the award function, held at the inaugural evening of the Delhi Sustainable Development Summit at the Taj Palace, New Delhi, where Abhishek Bachchan, Al Gore and Arnold Schwarzenegger all spoke via satellite on the effects of global warming. The most hyped war between Shah Rukh Khan-Shiv Sena continues with the Bollywood superstar refusing to apologise for his comments backing Paksitani cricketers after they were not picked up during the Indian Premier League auction in January. Addressing a press conference in London on Wednesday Shah Rukh said that he has always backed what he believed in.

“(I) would not apologise. I said what I believe in as an Indian. I haven’t said anything personally against anyone. I would apologise to my director, co-stars, business partners if because of me, the film is affected. It’s really sad, makes me rethink. I have apolgoised in the past if my film has caused offence - to hairstylists for Barber. But here, what am I supposed to apologise for? It’s just very sad,” said Shah Rukh.

Shiv Sena has warned SRK that his films won’t be allowed to be released and screened in Mumbai if he did not apologise for his comments on Pakistani cricketers. The shahenshah Amitabh Bachchan is all set to be the new brand ambassador for Gujarat.

In a message to Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi, Amitabh Bachchan conveyed his acceptance. He wrote, “You have very graciously considered my appointment as brand ambassador for Gujarat. I accept this offer of yours with great humility.”

During a visit to Gandhinagar in January for a screening of Paa for Narendra Modi, Amitabh had expressed his willingness to be the brand ambassador of the state. He had said, “I would be happy to lend my face and voice for the cause of Gujarat.” He had also said that if the government planned a documentary to showcase the state, he’d like to be a part of it.
